Dan was born and raised in a family that owned a retail business that was difficult to operate. As such, it was ingrained in him that you need to be fully committed to two things: taking care of your clients and taking care of your employees. He lives by these principles and attributes his clients' satisfaction to them.

Dan has worked extensively in the fields of investment management and financial planning since 2002. His practice is defined by the long-standing relationships he has built with his clients through consistent client service and regularly scheduled meetings. Dan and his assistants, Amelia St. Amour, Mary Herbst and scheduling assistant Monica Plante are attentive to details and open to innovation, and these qualities have been major contributors to his clients' success in achieving their goals.

Dan has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He has also earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary^®(AIF^®) designation from Fiduciary360. In addition, Dan is a member of the Financial Services Institute.

A lifelong resident of Canandaigua, New York, Dan and his wife, Kari, have six children. During his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, working out, making wine, and fishing.

Rob comes from a family of entrepreneurs and learned the value of hard work and dedication at a young age, which is what he delivers to his clients on a continual basis. Rob started his career as a certified public accountant in New York City, where he focused on auditing publicly traded companies and broker/dealers. From this experience, he has developed unique perspectives and skills in order to provide his clients with the advice needed to achieve their financial and personal goals.

Rob grew up in Binghamton, New York, and currently resides in Rochester, New York, with his wife. They both enjoy the benefits of the Finger Lakes region and biking and boating in their free time. Rob enjoys playing basketball and being an active member of the Eastside YMCA Board of Directors.

Mary Herbst has recently joined our organization in the role of Office Assistant.  Mary comes to us with over twenty years’ professional business experience.  A graduate of Roberts Wesleyan University School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management, she has previously held roles such as Chief Compliance Officer in a medical setting, Senior Financial Analyst in the nuclear energy field, and Registered Representative maintaining a Series 7 License within a financial planning office. Mary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her as she joins our team in her new role.

Mary grew up in Le Roy, NY and currently resides in Fairport, NY with her husband, Jason.  Together they enjoy spending time with their five adult children.  Mary and her husband enjoy boating, travel, and outdoor activities with family and friends.
